1. Who we are

These terms apply to entry into The Data Centre Cup and other events organised by 9to5 Football (“the Organiser”, “we”, “us”). By submitting an entry form, the entering company (“the Team”, “you”) agrees to these terms and to the Tournament Rules, which form part of them.

2. Entry and payment

Entry is £795 per company team, with entry limited to 16 company teams. Submitting the entry form is a request for a place, not a confirmed booking. We will review availability and, if a place is offered, issue an invoice. Your place is confirmed only when payment is received in full. No VAT is currently charged. Payment terms are stated on the invoice.

3. What’s included

A confirmed entry includes: a minimum of five games, company-logo team shirts, professionally managed fixtures, access to Goals Wimbledon facilities on the event day, professional videography, eligibility for all prizes, and participation in The Finisher Challenge. Anything not listed (including travel, food and drink) is not included.

4. Squads and eligibility

Squads are a maximum of seven players, all aged 18 or over. Players must have a genuine connection to the entering company — employees, contractors or long-term business partners. We may ask for confirmation and may refuse players who, in our reasonable view, break the spirit of a corporate competition. Squad changes are free until seven days before the event.

5. Withdrawals and refunds

If you withdraw 30 or more days before the event, we refund the entry fee in full. If you withdraw fewer than 30 days before the event, the fee is non-refundable, but your entry may be transferred to another company we approve. If we cancel the event for any reason, you choose between a full refund or a free transfer to the next comparable event. If the event is postponed (for example, venue closure or unsafe conditions), your entry carries over to the new date, with a full refund available if the new date does not work for you.

6. Conduct

This is a corporate event: competitive on the pitch, respectful everywhere. Referees’ decisions are final. Violent conduct, abuse of officials, opponents or spectators, or being unfit to play through alcohol or drugs will result in removal of the player — and in serious cases the team — without refund. Teams are responsible for the behaviour of their players and guests.

7. Health and liability

Five-a-side football is a physical sport. Players take part at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring they are fit to play. To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not liable for personal injury, loss or damage to property arising from participation. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. We recommend teams check their own insurance position.

8. Photography, video and marketing

The event is professionally filmed and photographed. By entering, teams consent to their players appearing in event content used across 9to5 Football channels, including highlights and marketing. Individual players can opt out by emailing us before the event; we will make reasonable efforts to exclude them from published content.

9. Charity donations

The £500 winners’ donation is paid by the Organiser directly to the chosen charity, which must be a registered UK charity, within 30 days of the event, in the winning team’s name. The £100 Finisher Challenge prize is paid to the winning player within 30 days of the event.

10. General

We may update these terms before entries close; confirmed teams will be notified of material changes. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
